The South Santa Barbara County Region is a vacation destination for tourists from all over the world. We are fortunate to be able to call this region home. Besides having some of the best restaurants in the world, there is also an array of beautiful beaches, hiking, shopping, and wine tasting. Beaches

Some of our favorite beaches in Santa Barbara include Mesa Lane and Ledbetter. To find information on all the best beaches in the city of Santa Barbara click here. Just above Mesa Lane is one of our favorite parks called the Douglas Preserve. Don't forget to bring your dog when you walk through this beautiful park on the edge of the cliffs overlooking the ocean. As you walk along the Douglas Preserve you can look down to Hendry's Beach.

Hiking

The Santa Barbara foothills offer breathtaking hikes that have sweeping ocean views. Some of our favorite hikes are Jesusita and Rattlesnake trails.

Montecito

The Four Seasons Biltmore in Montecito is located along Butterfly Beach, one of our favorite beaches. You can enjoy the beauty of the beach or walk through the lush gardens of the Biltmore. If you are looking to visit the Santa Barbara area the Biltmore is an experience you won't want to miss. Stop by for a drink or meal or stay in one of their elegant rooms.

Goleta and the Gaviota Coast

The Gaviota Coast is one of the gems of South Santa Barbara County. The Bacara Resort located just North of Goleta gives you an opportunity to experience a secluded part of the Gaviota Coast. Walking along the beach or on the bluffs is an experience you won't forget. Visit the Bacara Resort to dine, have a drink, or book a breathtaking stay.

As you head North along the Gaviota coast you can gain access to some of the best beaches through the California State Parks. El Capitan and Refugio offer camping and day use experiences.
